Guide

A local-business redesign should protect search trust

Inventory what already works

Export the current URLs, titles, traffic sources, enquiries, and important links before changing the design. A page that looks old may still be earning visibility. Mark pages to keep, improve, redirect, or retire.

Make the service and location obvious

Each important service should have useful location information, proof, process, pricing context where appropriate, and a clear next step. Mobile visitors should understand the offer and contact the business without hunting.

Test the migration like a customer and crawler

Check redirects, canonicals, sitemap URLs, forms, phone links, structured data, status codes, and rendered HTML. Watch Search Console after launch for lost pages. A redesign is not finished until the old search footprint has a safe path forward.

We can audit your current site before a redesign and give you a migration-first SEO checklist.
